As a child, Boise Holmes was awakened to storytelling through the rich essence of his understanding of his own upbringing.
A native of Baltimore, Boise grew up on the West side of Baltimore Maryland’s black community commonly called "The Black Butterfly". His mission is informed by his own childhood upbringing.
